Little green man
The little green man is yet another Martian. However, this one is more inline with conventional ideas about what a Martian should look like. The little green man was actually used on a t-shirt design that read: "Little green men need friends too!"
The concept with this graphic was to get more people interested in seeing humanity venture to Mars and perhaps eventually set up a colony. The anthropomorphizing of the little green man was supposed to serve as a bridge or door to opening up people's minds to the idea that finding and mingling with other life forms is a good idea and not to be feared.
The little green man is also gesturing as if he is trying to communicate with the viewer. This gives the character an even more endearing aspect.
This graphic was made in Photoshop by splicing several images together to achieve the desired result.
